Taco Johns (multiple locations) –
The Mexican chain is offering a free bean or beef burrito along with a round
of potato oles to anyone who needs it at many of its locations. All you need
to do is ask for the “Community Special.”
Food Shelves & Groceries

DoorDash –
DoorDash is helping SNAP recipients during the federal aid lapse by
delivering 1 million free meals through food banks and waiving delivery and
service fees on one grocery order for eligible customers. From Nov. 1–30,
2025, SNAP users can link their EBT card to their DoorDash account and use
promo code SNAPDD to receive $0 delivery and service fees at participating
stores, including Hy-Vee, Dollar General, and Sprouts.

East Side Market (St. Paul) –
From Nov. 5-30, East Side Market will offer $50 in free groceries—including
meat, bread, and milk—to SNAP EBT customers whose cards haven’t been
reloaded for November.

Fare For All –
Discounted grocery pop-ups, including West 7th Community Center (first
Friday of each month).

GoPuff –
GoPuff is offering SNAP recipients up to $50 in free groceries this
November, split into two $25 credits with free delivery—use code SNAPRELIEF1
from Nov. 1–15 and SNAPRELIEF2 from Nov. 16–30 after adding your SNAP/EBT
card to your account; each offer is limited to the first 200,000 users.

Free Meals

Buzz Coffee and Cafe (Burnsville) –
The Buzz will host a free community chili night on Nov. 5 from 5:30–7:30
p.m. All are welcome to enjoy chicken or veggie chili, cornbread, and more.
Families are encouraged to RSVP online to
help plan for food quantities.

Cabina Coffee (Pine City) –
Starting Nov. 1, free grilled cheese sandwich ordered for or by a child ages
17 and under. The offer continues until SNAP benefits are restored.

Chaska Moravian Church –
Second Saturday of each month, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Heights Pizza Man (Columbia Heights) –
Starting Nov. 3, free pizza slices, salads, and cheesebread will be
available to anyone in need—no questions asked. The restaurant plans to
continue the offer as long as funds allow and is accepting donations via the
QR code linked here.

Randy’s Gluten-Free Pizzeria (Oakdale) –
Families who receive SNAP subsidies with one or more children under 16 with
gluten sensitivities can reach out for fresh or frozen pizzas by calling

Shakopee Bowl (Shakopee) –
Starting Nov. 1, all children can get a free hamburger meal when they
dine-in until SNAP benefits are restored. No purchase necessary, no
questions asked.

Free meal every Monday, 5:15-6:15 p.m.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (Watertown) –
First Thursday of each month, 5:30 p.m.

Whiskey Creek BBQ (Cottage Grove) –
“Whiskey Creek Meal” includes pulled pork and sides—free for anyone in need.

Anyone in need can pick up a free warm waffle daily from 2-4 p.m.
